SUP Magazine Bart de Zwart on His Expedition in French Polynesia
SUP Magazine - Earlier this week, Maui's Bart de Zwart completed the first solo, unsupported SUP expedition from Tahiti to Bora Bora. After paddling 180 miles over four days and three nights, Bart reached Bora Bora just before nightfall on Sunday, May 18. Jackson Kayak Urban Kayaking Freestyle Move, Set to Street Musicians…
Jackson Kayak - Dominion River Rock Festival put on by the "Sports Backers" of Richmond, VA (Jon Lugbill, for those who remember this slalom legend), was another huge success with 100,000 people in attendance over two days and epic weather and water…  While warming up for the Freestyle event, I found two train bridge pilings that were only about 15 feet apart and the current lead from one to another.    I was able to do a front loop into a splat on the first bridge and the current took me off to the left ...
Riding Bumps If You Want to Win Sup Races You Need to Learn to Learn to Draft and Ride The Drafting Train
Riding Bumps - The discussion as to whether drafting should be allowed in SUP is a discussion that was essentially put to rest this year. With the importance of the Carolina Cup increasing year after year (1), if you want to hang with the big boys and be in the best races, you are going to have to learn how to paddle in a drafting train. At races like the Carolina Cup effective drafting will make or break your race.
Frogma Manattan Circumnavigation Photo Trip Report
Frogma - Click here for the full Flickr gallery. Now getting through the whole thing may be a feat of endurance, but so was paddling 32 miles in mid-May, and I did actually do captions to help lead you through.
Jackson Kayak Freestyle Aussie style
Jackson Kayak - Having been spoilt by the friendliness, quality, quietness and ease of the Hawea waves it was a good challenge to be back training on this tricky little hole. Phoenix's were much easier here, as were tricky wu's. But a lot of the other moves were a lot more challenging. Even the simple stuff like cartwheels and loops.

Mark Sundin Paddling Gear for the Cold
Mark Sundin - We're blessed to be based in Sydney, as temperate a climate as you could hope to have, with cool winters laced with sunshine, and a water temperature that barely plumbs the depths some of our southern neighbours have to endure.
SherriKayaks Six quick advantages of paddling a SUP
SherriKayaks - As a longtime kayaker, I must confess that I wasn't immediately captivated by the idea of stand-up paddling. However, as I gave it a try, I found some unexpected benefits. Here are 6 quick advantages of paddling a SUP.
Trash Paddler Exeter Above the Squamscott
Trash Paddler - Being in New Hampshire yesterday for a water treatment seminar, it seemed only natural to paddle a bit of the nearest river before heading home. The Exeter River transitions from freshwater to tidal at the falls in downtown Exeter where it becomes the Squamscott River, a tributary of Great Bay and the Piscataqua River.
Sarah Outen Sea lions and waterfalls
Sarah Outen - Sea lions make very noisy neighbours. This we discovered a couple of days ago when three of them hauled up at half four in the morning not far from our tent and started their grunting and snorting and honking at each other. From what we have seen in the daytime it seems to be boys fighting over girls.
