News Watch Headlines Spring Splash NOC Hometown Throwdown #1 worldkayak blogs - Spring Slash at the NOC was host to the first WK Hometown Throwdown at NOC for the year. We had a great group of competitors that traveled from near and far to show us their best tricks in the hole. We even had an appearance by the one and only Clay Wright (in his lighting bolt Rockstar). Back Yard Run Jackson Kayak - It's mostly class II, III with a class IV falls near the end of the regular run. At one time there was a steep, stout fish ladder below the falls that some people would attempt to navigate in the longboats of the early 90′s. I witnessed one of these attempts, it consisted of an ugly piton and a folded up C-1. Plain ugly to watch.
