A get-together of people with one common interest: kayak fishing in the waters of the St-Lawrence River in Boucherville, QC. All-in-all it was a very nice day of fishing. The Big Rig is a TANK! A super stable and comfortable ride... Reno River Festival '14 Jackson Kayak - Another Reno River festival is in the books, and it was an interesting one for sure. We started off the festivities in the Ninkasi Penthouse overlooking the WW park for judges meetings and a out of town boater party. Cape Wrath Trail Paddling The Assynt Inflatable Kayaks & Packrafts - I am slowly working my way through a western variant of the Cape Wrath Trail, a hardcore, unofficial Long-distance path that runs some 200 miles between Fort William and Cape Wrath. Eric Terrien, Sonni HöNscheid Win Day 1 At The Sup Race Cup (St. Maxime, France) SUPracer - It's week 2 of the NSP Euro Tour and today we see one of Europe's most iconic races: The SUP Race Cup in Sainte-Maxime, France. This race has seemingly been around forever (I believe this is the 5th installment) and has done a lot for SUP racing in Europe in that time. Day one in Szeged ICF - First day of action at the final ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup season was contested in blustery yet sweltering conditions in Szeged, Hungary. May Showers Jackson Kayak - Around this time normally in Connecticut, rivers are going back to normal flows after April. This year though, we've been lucky to get rain lots and lots of rain. A Showery Sudbury River Trash Paddler - During this morning's rain showers I launched from the Lincoln Canoe Launch and headed upriver on the Sudbury. Lee's Bridge provided a last dry moment before beginning my ascent (photo at left). As is often the case on a cloudy/showery day, wildlife were found to be out and about.
