Up to this time, Louise has used various combinations of neoprene pieces and paddling jackets. However, her main paddling jacket is in need of replacement and we've been discussing the pros and cons of a dry-suit as a replacement. New iDusi goes into production Corran SUP - As a result of the astounding success Corran had at the Dusi Marathon, taking first place in the first ever SUP participation in this 50yr old race, we have decided to make an inflatable version, called the iDusi. While the board carries the name of this amazing race, really the target market for it is paddlers who want the speed and enjoyment of paddling a 17′ board -all the glide and excitement – without the problems of storage and transport of such a craft. Master Class I instructor Byron Kurt will be conducting the course for those seeking certified instruction with stand up paddling that will include, technique, water safety, board/paddle fitting, and water dynamics. 5 Tips for Paddling a SUP Prone Upwind Rob Casey - Every one's so busy downwinding they rarely think about getting upwind until they need to. Many of the down winders here in the Pacific NW reverse direction forcing paddlers to either slog it out to the the finish upwind, or downwind it back to their starting point. Epic 2nd day of action here at the Abu Dhabi All Stars Grand Slam Standup Journal - It was another full and dramatic day of action today at Wadi Adventure Park in Al Ain, for the 2nd day of the Abu Dhabi All Stars. With a warm up session for the women to kick the day off, it was straight back into Men's Round number one, as we picked up with Heat #13 through 16 to complete the first round of action.
