Paiwen SUP Boards For Women - Stand Up Paddleboarding allows you to explore and experience health and fitness in a whole new light. My training style is functional training first, then we load and fire full force. There's a million and one ways I could show you how to do this, but for now we'll keep it simple.
Werner Paul Scriver - Meets new friend in Antarctica
Werner - We were kayaking behind Pleneau Island on the Antarctic Peninsula. We were down exploring the peninsula with One Ocean Expeditions who provide the amazing experience of sea kayaking in Antarctica. This guy ( I have it on good authority that it was in fact a male) found us and started being quite inquisitive.
Werner The 'New Haven Race' kicks off the white water race season for North Country and Canadian boaters.
Werner - The New Haven Race is more than a race. It's a reunion. The timing of the race early in the spring makes it an ideal chance to reconnect with paddlers you haven't seen since Moose Fest. six months prior. The mood is full excitement. Both for the race and the paddling season as a whole. Voices can be overheard making plans for trips later in the season, and stretches of river that paddlers have their sights set on for when the spring thaw hits in earnest.

Exploring Elements EVENT: 2014 Santa Cruz Paddle Surf Festival
Exploring Elements - The Santa Cruz Paddle Surf Festival is truly a highlight of my travel schedule every year! I love getting together with the kayak surf tribe and surfing the spectacular waves at Steamer's Lane with a few good friends. This year I hadn't been in my surf kayak for something like 10 months before the comp, so with only about an hr of practice the day before the comp I managed to do myself proud. I even managed the highest IC score of the first day of competition, but in the end was 8 in IC and 9 in HP.
Dagger Blogs Friends of the Rio.
Dagger Blogs - The personalities of kayakers are varied and interesting to say the least. Almost as important as where you're going on that great trip, is who are you going with. This winter I got a chance to cruise around Ecuador with two really good friends, Clay Warren and Laura Farrell. My planning for this trip was short, I was talked into it last minute by Clay.
SUPracer Payette River Games: Seven Very Good Reasons To Register Right Now
SUPracer - Remember back in September 2013 when the Payette River Games came out of nowhere to announce the most lucrative prize purse in SUP history? Jackson Kayak Skiing and Fishing- common ground??
Jackson Kayak - I am as much a skier as an angler and I have experienced awesome moments both on the mountain and on the water. I have fished and skied around since I was 3 years old and I feel there is a lot in common between skiing and fishing. I want to share with you some of my thoughts.

Log of Ibi The Trip Plan
Log of Ibi - The trip plan written here can easily be tailored to any trip, whether backpacking, expedition paddling, or sailing. The first thing you need to do is inspect your maps for the entire trip. You want to make sure you have indeed left no lapses in coverage. Then take all the maps and mark them for mileage. Some maps and charts come already referenced for mileage. Mississippi River maps and charts, for example, use mileage to reference everything.
Rapid Media Get a Grip
Rapid Media - Time to confess. Have you ever used a knife to cut the tag end of a fishing knot? Have you used your teeth to tighten a bolt? Have you used your fingers to dig deep into a fish's mouth and remove a treble hook? If you answered "Yes" to any of these questions, you are guilty of one of the worst crimes in fishing—using the wrong tool.
