Pucon Kayak Hostel Kayaker Pulls Diamond from Pocket and Proposes on Green Narrows after Rescue
Pucon Kayak Hostel - And it was there… just below Gorilla on the Green Narrows… in the middle of the river… amid a tangled mess of rope and hope… a kayak full of water, bobbing precariously close to a sieve… one hand holding hers, the other, a ring… she finally said the word I was anxiously waiting to hear… "yes!"
Rafting Life Coquihalla Canyon – Rambo Country
Rafting Life - After another day of playing on the Chilliwack river doing Swiftwater Rescue, it was time to head off to #rambo country aka Hope, BC. The reason rambo comes up as this is where 'First Blood' was filmed in 1982. Having driven the Coquihalla highway a number of times, it was nice to finally drop into the section below the Othello tunnels. These five tunnels were built to accommodate the Kettle Valley Railway Grade which was built in 1914.
CKS Blog CLASS V NOTCH SPLAT ON GORILLA – GREEN RIVER NARROWS
CKS Blog - I've said it once, and I'll say it again – class V downriver freestyle is where it's at. High consequence, bad ass, old school downriver freestyle. This video is a little bit grainy, but you can still fully see Pat Keller splatting the Notch of Gorilla on the Green. It's tough!

Chris Wing Getting Out of a Rut: a Kayaker's Guide to Getting Back on the Horse
Chris Wing - Kayaking is a fickle beast. Okay, okay allow me to rephrase. The River knows no dominion, and as hopeful explorers we will discover this for ourselves sooner or later. We're merely along for the ride until the River decides we are in need of some serious humility.
playak.net Kayaking on Idrija river
playak.net - The spring is always very early here, in the Soca valley, in Slovenia. Last weekend we were expecting some rain, and one for our friend, Bojan Rušjan told, if we are lucky, we can try to paddle on Idrija river. It is a small creek on the border of Italy and Slovenia. Close to the Soca valley, Idrija is one of those creeks, which is possible to paddle only after a big rain.
Wavesport Blogs The Diesel 80 - Revisited
Wavesport Blogs - If I were told that I could only have one kayak to take with me for a full year to paddle every river in Costa Rica, the choice would be too easy.
Mike Dawson Very Chill Summer
Mike Dawson - Since the Australian Open in Jan I have spent a lot of time out of the boat and off the river. In October I got a tendonitis that was pretty bad in my wrist. A side effect of paddling a lot for the last 14 years. With some great treatment and some injections into it I was able to race selection in January and secure 1st boat on the NZ team, thankfully, as there isn't a Pre-Selection basis on medical grounds.
Jackson Kayak Oceans of Whitewater (Part 4)
Jackson Kayak - What, you may ask, is a pour-over? The short answer is riding a wave over a rock. I'm going to give you a longer version of the answer however and seek to de-mystify this apparently dangerous and flamboyant maneuver that combines the thrills of sea, surf and whitewater kayaking in a fusion of judgment, timing and skill.

PeakUK Viking Canoe Polo at the Essen 4s
PeakUK - Viking A travelled out to Essen in Germany a few weekend back to take part in one of their favourite tournaments. Although they were down to only four players due to injuries and travel issues, four could be enough for this four-a-side fast paced version of the game.

Inflatable Kayak Blog - There's been much excitement generated in technical circles in recent years by three dimensional (3D) printing. The applications for manufacturing and medical uses are revolutionary.
Rafting Life Norrish Creek – The Classic
Rafting Life - When I first started paddling in Alberta, came back to BC, and found a copy of 'Topo Country'. It was on a VHS tape and had sections of rivers in Whistler, the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island all run in Topo Kayaks. Within those sections was Norrish creek.

Palm Blogs Uganda and my winter travels
Palm Blogs - This winter I had to leave the UK, so we made plans to head to warmer counties. In January we went for a little off the water trip to Cyprus for a few weeks, which proved to be a very nice and cheap destination to go for the off season holiday, we did some filming for the donkey sanctuary there and lots of driving around, the Island is small, but very beautiful, and food is very good here, it also seems to be a very good destination for sea kayaking.
