unsponsored Escape To Corsica 2014
unsponsored - I've seen many photographs and videos of Corsica since I started kayaking 4 years ago but never imagined that I'd actually get to go and experience the crystal waters and steep creeks of this stunning island. It is difficult to get any detailed information on the kayaking out there aside from a few videos and German guidebooks from the 80s full of air bracing pioneers in fibreglass boats!
Jackson Kayak My Life- The Next 50 Years- An Ej Essay and Inventory
Jackson Kayak - A wife, Kristine, of 25+ years.. She grounds me where i need to be grounded (there are few areas that I accept being grounded, but at least she points out the ground and says, "don't forget that there is a ground down there".
Dagger Blogs Paddlers Etiquette
Dagger Blogs - I am lucky to live in one of the best whitewater towns in the country. A huge part of this is due to awesome boaters who conduct themselves professionally and represent the sport well in our community. Overall I'm proud to be a boater here, but sometimes I cringe to drive around with a kayak on my car after seeing some of the things boaters do. I am not perfect by any means and have done my fair share of dirtbagging, but I'd like to continue developing paddling etiquette for anyone who would like to visit popular paddling destinations. Most of this seems like common sense, but it's a good reminder for all of us.
Jackson Kayak Kilroy Takes a Ride on a Yakima Rack and Roll Ultralight Kayak Trailer
Jackson Kayak - Let's face it, big fishing kayaks aren't as easy to throw on your roof as tiny whitewater kayaks. Bigger and heavier, it's usually a two person operation, or a one man balancing act. So, kayak anglers are looking more and more at kayak trailers, and the benefits they offer. We'll go through some of those kayak angling benefits in this article, specifically on the ultralight Rack and Roll Trailer from Yakima.
Exploring Elements Jackson Kayak: Southern Hospitality
Exploring Elements - Stoked I got talked into a last minute detour, during a quick cross country drive, to Rock Island, TN to go kayaking with my good friends Stephen Wright and Clay Wright . It worked out great as I got to hang with amazing people that I don't see all that often, paddle a new section of river, demo the Karma UL  kayak and even get a tour of the Jackson Kayak  factory, which is probably now the largest kayak manufacturer on the planet. I didn't know much about the Upper Caney Fork before we put on, as it has never been on my radar as a river section I had to check out. We got to paddle the class 4 section at pretty high water, which apparently pads things out and actually makes the run a bit easier...
Am. Whitewater New River Dries Flow Study Dates Set (WV)
Am. Whitewater - Dates for the New River Dries Paddling Flow Study have been tentatively set for May 6 and 7, 2014.  River flow and other factors could result in rescheduling, with a final determination made several days prior to the study.  Volunteer paddlers with suitable (Class IV) skills are encouraged to participate in the study, and to RSVP.
Rapid Media 5 Pros, Worst Weather Day
Rapid Media - Kayak fishermen aren't going to be kept off the water with a little wind or rain, but sometimes things get nasty out there. Getting caught in a storm immediately switches the focus from fishing to safety, but it also makes for a better story down the road.

Rafting Life Copper Canyon of the Chemainus
Rafting Life - Over the last little while the rivers have been in on Vancouver Island. After getting shut down on the Copper Canyon section of the Chemainus river three times, Liam, Shayne, Corey, Steve and myself managed to get on at 25cms.
Jackson Kayak NZ 2014 Freestyle Nationals
Jackson Kayak - The New Zealand national championships happened over the last weekend of march at the hawea whitewater park, situated in the central region of the South Island. It is New Zealand newest freestyle location and without a doubt our best. Last years nationals featured as the first event at the park. And this year it was my first competition post shoulder surgery.
unsponsored Going Solo – Alone With The River
unsponsored - For many years, I considered those who ventured out to rivers on their own to be reckless individuals with no regard for their own safety or well-being; however, I was recently offered a fresh perspective on solo boating during a 4 Training day with Dave Kohn-Hollins (I won't try and reproduce his words here, as I'll most likely misquote him and lose some of the sentiment; instead, I'll simply recommend you book yourself onto a course with River Flair).

worldkayak blogs The River Gods Deliver Water
worldkayak blogs - Well, after 3 weeks of waiting and hoping that our coldest and snowiest winter in years would bring a great paddling season, we learned that for the Wisconsin rivers…the snow would not do the trick.
GrindTV On-Water Kayaker Aleksander Doba completes 5,400-mile crossing of Atlantic
GrindTV On-Water - Aleksander Doba, a Polish adventurer who set out six months ago to cross the Atlantic in a 21-foot kayak, pulled into Port Canaveral in Florida on Thursday night, looking like a castaway. His skin was bronzed and weathered, his beard long and tangled, but the 67-year-old's mood was upbeat as he raised his arms in triumph after a remarkable crossing that spanned 5,400 miles.
