Todd Wells Mexico 2010: The Rio Alseseca
Todd Wells - This year I was lucky enough to be invited on a trip to Mexico with paddlers Rush Sturges, Evan Garcia, Rafa Ortiz, and cinematographer Matt Baker for the filming of River Root's next film Frontier. So, on October 12th I gathered what money remained from my summer of work at the Kayak Shed, and headed south. After some hours on the plane and a long night in the Dallas Airport I finally arrived in Mexico City. There I met up with the crew and spent a few days exploring the world biggest city, a city of 27 million people.

Vaya Con Rios Rio Nevados
Vaya Con Rios - From 2004 when the boys from LVM ran it for the first time this river become one of the classics in my home town (Pucon). This are the pics from my short visit to Chile this year in September-October, the water levels were not the best ones but I had a epic time paddling with the boys, was very cool to see that the kayak sport is getting bigger in Chile, more kayakers from Chile, more boats, more fun. We follow Ian Garcia all the way down, he showed us the lines, this guy is spending more time than me in Pucon, probably he is already a Puconino, cool guy!.
Wavesport Blogs Giving Some Thought To Kayaking Injuries
Wavesport Blogs - Just the other day I was reading a post by Andy Maser about his experience with a dislocated shoulder. I thought it was interesting, but didn't think too much about it. Afterall, how likely is it that I would dislocate my shoulder kayaking?
Evan Garcia Rio Jalacingo ¨Bukaki Slide¨
Evan Garcia - After a nice warm up day on the Big B. section we knew that The Alsaseca´s brother river (The Jalacingo) was at a good level to start and knock off some of it´s harder sections. We went ahead and hiked all the way to the first drop of the run, Bukaki. Rafa and a crew of Canadian buddies, Joel, Nick, Ben, etc. found this drop two years ago on another mission to the area and got the first D. This drop is a messy, fast, sliding, multi tiered falls. Can I use any more adjectives to discribe this drop??? Yes, Brown!

Gene17 Autumn River Leader Training in Soča with Gene17
Gene17 - I had been looking at the Soča River for a couple of years so my expectations for this trip were extremely high. Also, after not having done much white water paddling in the last year I was a bit apprehensive about being able to cope in a Grade 3/4 environment; I needn't have worried…
CKS Blog The Imagine Eco Surfboards Reviewed By Aaron Koch (on a class III waterfall run)
CKS Blog - I have been paddling the Imagine Eco Rapidfire for a few months now. The board is excellent. We like to call it the ENABLER, because it enables you to run rapids and rivers that are just too difficult for inflatables(SUP's).
