Kokatat Blog The Kamchatka Project Accomplishes the Impossible
Kokatat Blog - oing into this expedition there were more unknowns than knows. We did not know if we had water levels right, exact costs for heli time and services remained a bit vague, weather was certainly up in the air and delays seemed par for the course. What we knew was that we had a well-rounded team and some humility for one of the wildest places on Earth. To come home having checked off nearly every objective we set off with, we feel extremely thankful to everyone who supported us and believed in the project.
CKS Blog Nicole Mansfield Reviews The Pyranha Molan
CKS Blog - Well, after a season of using the new Pyranha Molan, I am still as stoked on it as I was the first day. The Molan has proven itself to be an incredible playboat. I've used it river running, surfing both big and little waves, and playboating in holes and in all these features, the Molan shines. A little longer than the new Star, the Molan is a better river runner with the extra length making it faster and more stable for making moves. Wavewheels, macho moves, splats, and stern squirts are a lot of fun in this boat. In holes the Molan goes HUGE.
Double 2D Scotland – Inspired Kayaking
Double 2D - A short kayaking film from my adventures north of the border.

adidas Sickline - The last weekend of September was the final weekend of the Alpine Rivers Freestyle Cup. We hosted the event in Cunovo, Slovakia, which is our local play spot. Paddlers from several countries in Europe e.g. Austria, Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic came for the event.

Kokatat Blog - Will Parham put together this GoPro video of Burnt Ranch Gorge on the Trinity River. "The Ranch" is a backyard run for Kokatat and goes almost all year round. Will's video includes all of the rapids on the run.
Canoe Kayak Crossover Creations
Canoe Kayak - Sometimes, things just come together. In kayak design, the melding of whitewater capability and plentiful space to rig overnight gear seems like a no-brainer. But it wasn't until the end of the last decade that multiple manufacturers explored this budding niche of "crossover" kayaks—boats in the 9- to 10-foot range built for both touring and moderate whitewater.
LL Ladies Lounge Liquidlogic Remix Xp Field Test-Rogue River
LL Ladies Lounge - Over this summer's break, I snagged a Remix XP 9 for a self-support trip down the Rogue River with Josh Mckeown. He was in the Remix XP 10 and between the two of us, we are proud to say, "We love the Remix XP's!". At first I was skeptical when I got it fully loaded- loaded meaning about 95 pounds for me and 120 for Josh.
SherriKayaks Winter Canoe/Kayak Storage
SherriKayaks - I have a total of 19 boats stored in my garage over the winter , and my husband and I can still get both of our cars in the garage, as well. We have an average 22′ x 22′ two-car garage with a small 8′ x 12′ tool shed in the yard where we store the lawn mower, rakes, shovels, etc. I use a variety of different methods for storing my canoes and kayaks ranging from very basic homemade solutions to very expensive free-standing racks.
Lean Upstream Best Things Starting With "B": Boundary Waters, Boats, BBQ Brisket and more
Lean Upstream - Thursday: After a complicated carpooling situation accommodating last minute changes in peeps and boats that nearly required us to hire a consultant to come up with a plan as well as a clinical counselor when Frank saw how much stuff I wanted to pack (ultimately successfully I hasten to add) into my car so early in the morning while leaving space for two long lads beside me, we were off to a cold weather trip Up North.
Kokatat Blog Stand Up Paddling Round Bowron Lake Circuit
Kokatat Blog - Laura Demers, Sales/Demo Coordinator at Western Canoeing and Kayaking, recently came back from the Bowron Lake Circuit (116km) in British Columbia after being the first person to SUP the circuit.
Palm Blogs End to end on Loch Ness – Part 2
Palm Blogs - Day two started much as day one had ended, cloudy and overcast with a stiffening wind. I was awake at first light as usual and used this time to plan the day.
Inflatable Kayak Blog How To Choose The Right Kayak Paddle For You
Inflatable Kayak Blog - Deciding on the right paddle is simple enough when you have the information you need to make an informed decision. Your own personal preferences play a major role in your choice, but so does your height, length of the paddle, weight of the paddle, what material is used, and the shape of the blade.
