Playboating: Use It or Loose It Wavesport Blogs - Recently Z-Dam was running in Richmond, and my buddies and I were stoked to get out there and throw some tricks. We weren't expecting to be anything like these guys, but we figured that we would be better than we were last season.

Stromboli CackleTV - Climbing 900 metres up to the top of Stromboli was the highlight of a 4-day tour of Sicily's Aeolian islands. This really is a beautiful paddling destination with incredible rock formations, warm clear water and easy access to great food. You can camp on the beach or at campsites, or you can stay in hotels. But for me the thing that really makes these islands special is the volcanic activity. As Francesco Petralia, the symposium organiser put it, "the islands are alive"! Stromboli is the only continually active volcano in Europe – reliably giving a loud, gassy eruption.

Fantasy Falls; North fork of the Mokelumne 2008 Evan Garcia - This is a section off a movie I made from the summer of 2008 called "Burnt Summer". Being one of my favorite films I have made, I know not many people have had the chance to see this movie. So here is one short segment of the movie that goes from the East Kaweah all the way to the Metlako falls all the way to the Stikine. It is a West Coast riders movie.

Brit champs: Nottingham Seth Ashworth - The sun was shone brightly on saturday for another in the series of the British Freestyle championships series. This event was a special one for me as it was scheduled to be the only event to decide the British Squirt boat championship.

Fall colors The Lake is the Boss - I think the only people who don't enjoy the fall colors are those who dread winter and see the bright reds, oranges, and yellows as harbingers of the brutal winter that will soon be sweeping down from the Northwest Territories. For those of us with short attention spans, its just another great season in the never ending cycle in the north country. Kayaking this time of year is absolutely the best. Not only is the scenery exquisite but the temperatures won't cook or freeze a person, the water is still comfortable, and most insects are deceased.

Monday Morning Motivation - Nevis Season Cumec Magazine - This video was put together by NZ Pyranha Importer Pete Simpson a few years ago for the hearings to protect extend the Kawarau Water Conservation Order to include the Nevis River. Whitewater New Zealand and Central Otago Whitewater alongside several other environmental organisations presented cases to an independent tribunal.

Sunday fun Surf w/ Friends Atlantic Paddle Surfing - I made the semi finals of the SUP up in Charleston event scheduled for today.However I decided to stay here and not drive five hours and enjoy the fun surf with my friends. Below are some frame grabs of video shot . Jesse , Scott Giuseppe , Brooke and I sharing waves on the stand ups while good friends rode on their longboards and waveskis. What a great day..

October Coaching courses... Adventurous Experiences - The beginners and improvers split into two groups, the one led by Janet and Neil meandered around the bay, using the natural coastline for skills exercises and progressing their 2* skills.
